Each month on Rent Day, Bilt delivers a new set of bonus opportunities for Bilt Mastercard® cardholders and other members. The offers range from earning bonus points to enjoying special experiences just for members.
In celebration of September Rent Day, Bilt Rewards members can take advantage of huge transfer bonus offers from both Avianca and Virgin Atlantic/Virgin Red. Members can also enjoy exclusive experiences with Virgin Voyages and ResortPass, along with members-only dining experiences in select cities.
Other September Rent Day perks include SoulCycle rides and the RentFree game show.
Keep in mind: These offers are part of Bilt’s Rent Day series, an ongoing program that offers a daylong promotion on the first of each month. On this day, Bilt cardholders can earn double the points on non-rent purchases (up to 10,000 points), plus other perks.
Details about Bilt’s September Rent Day offers
September’s featured Rent Day benefits include two great transfer bonuses for your Bilt points with Bilt’s travel partners — Avianca and Virgin. You can also enjoy BOGO opportunities with both Virgin Voyages and ResortPass. Plus, you can secure tickets to Dave Portnoy’s “One Bite Pizza Festival” or take advantage of curated dining experiences with Bilt’s Neighborhood Dining program.
Avianca LifeMiles transfer bonus
On September 1, transfer your Bilt points to Avianca LifeMiles and receive a 50 percent transfer bonus. These points can be redeemed for flights with Avianca and other Star Alliance partners, cabin class upgrades, hotel stays, car rentals and more.
The transfer bonus window begins at 12 a.m. Eastern on September 1 and runs through 2:59 a.m. Eastern on September 2.
Virgin Points status-based transfer bonus
Get up to a 100 percent bonus when you transfer your Bilt points to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club or Virgin Red on Sept. 1, 2024. The amount of your bonus depends on your Bilt membership level and will be as follows:
- Bilt Platinum members: 100 percent bonus
- Bilt Gold members: 60 percent bonus
- Bilt Silver members: 40 percent bonus
- Bilt Blue members: 20 percent bonus
Virgin Points never expire and can be used for things like flights with Virgin Atlantic (and partner airlines), stays at Virgin Limited Edition retreats, travel experiences and more. Again, this bonus transfer window is available from 12 a.m. Eastern on September 1 until 2:59 a.m. Eastern on Sept. 2, 2024.
Complimentary guest on Virgin Voyages
This exclusive BOGO travel experience with Virgin Voyages is back for Bilt’s September Rent Day.
When booking a “Sea Terrace” cabin on select cruise sailings with Virgin Voyages, Bilt members receive a complimentary booking for a guest on their reservation. Bookings can be made now through September 1.
Members can also enjoy additional exclusive benefits, including:

To take advantage of the offer, simply head to your Bilt Rewards account and click on the Virgin Voyages Travel Experience. Then, click “Book Now” to choose from the available sailings. BOGO pool or spa day
For September’s Bilt Rent Day, Bilt members can unlock BOGO day passes to pools and spas at over 1,000 hotels located throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and The Bahamas.
On September 1 only, you can book a Pool Chair, Day Pass or Spa Pass with ResortPass — plus you can book a second guest to come with you for free. Simply use the Rent Day experience in the app or on the website to book the passes for any date in the future. You’ll be sent to the property website you select, and the coupon will be automatically applied at checkout.
One Bite Pizza Festival
Enjoy over 35 of the country’s best neighborhood pizza joints by securing your tickets to Dave Portnoy’s “One Bite Pizza Festival.” The festival happens on September 14 at Randall’s Island Park in New York, but you can secure your tickets through Bilt Rent Day now.
With your festival tickets, you can choose to attend either the afternoon or evening session. You’ll also gain access to the members-only Bilt Living Room. Inside, you’ll enjoy complimentary cocktails, a live DJ, pizza delivery from Andrew Bellucci’s and more. Plus, somebody may even get their rent paid.
Tickets start at 5,000 Bilt points (or $180) per person for the evening session and 7,500 Bilt points (or $250) per person for the afternoon session.

RentFree game show
Play Bilt’s RentFree game show within the Bilt app for a chance at winning free rent. To enter the drawing, participants must correctly guess three of the most common responses to the game’s questions. Here’s what you can win:
- The top 10 players win a free rent payment (up to $2,500)
- The next 100 highest ranking players receive 1,000 Bilt points
- The next 500 highest ranking players receive 100 Bilt points

SoulCycle Rent Day Rides
Bilt Members can book a complimentary bike at participating SoulCycle locations for Rent Day. These seats are first-come, first-served and bookings open by status level beginning August 29 at noon Eastern. One lucky rider will also win a month of rent (up to $2,500).
Please note that you will be charged a $30 fee if you don’t attend and fail to cancel before 5 p.m. local time. You will also be prohibited from booking future SoulCycle rides on Rent Day.
Double credit card rewards
Renters can get more rewards with Bilt’s rewards credit card on the first of the month. Bilt Mastercard® cardholders earn double the points on non-rent purchases made with the card for up to 10,000 bonus points, including:
- 6X points on dining (normally 3X points)
- 4X points on travel (normally 2X points)
- 2X points on other purchases, excluding rent (normally 1X points)
This offer starts at midnight Eastern on September 1, and runs through 11:59 p.m. Pacific. As a reminder, to earn points you need to use your Bilt Mastercard at least five times per month.
Remember, though, Bilt points are only worth about 0.55 cents each when redeemed for rent; therefore, 1,000 points equals $5.50 toward rent. Other Bilt redemption options, in particular using Bilt’s transfer partners, will provide better value. According to Bankrate’s valuations, Bilt points are worth about 2.1 cents each when transferred to a high-value travel partner.
Furthermore, the Bilt card is a solid rewards card for the right person – specifically, someone who pays rent on the card and maximizes the extra offers and rewards opportunities – but it’s certainly not the best rewards card for everyone. Be sure to do your homework before applying to ensure it’s right for you.
